Recipe: Jamaican Jerk Chicken

Infusion needed: Infused coconut oil and Infused brown sugar

Prep Time: 20 min

Ingredients:

10 Chicken pieces, thighs or legs 

6 Garlic cloves 

1 ½  – inch piece Ginger 

6 Green onions 

1 Lime 

1 Jalapeno with seeds removed 

1 tbsp Parsley, fresh leaves 

1 tbsp Thyme, fresh leaves 

⅓  cup Lime juice, fresh 

¼  cup Soy sauce, reduced-sodium 

1 tsp Jamaican Allspice, ground

1 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground 

½  tsp Cinnamon, ground 

¼  tsp Nutmeg, ground 

2 tbsp Canna Brown sugar 

1 cup  Canna Oil

Method:

  1. In a blender combine garlic, ginger, green onions, lime juice, jalapenos, soy sauce, canna brown sugar, canna coconut oil, and all seasonings. 
  2. Pulse at low speed for 30 seconds. 
  3. Place raw chicken in a plastic Ziploc bag and cover in sauce to marinate overnight. 
  4. Remove chicken from bag and place onto a baking sheet.
  5. Bake chicken at 350 degrees for 40-55 minutes. Chicken must reach at least 165℉ before consuming.
  6. Enjoy & label leftovers for safety.
